In 2009, Licht took on social media on top of her traditional PR responsibilities and created “DKNY PR GIRL” (@dkny on Twitter), the company's award winning social media personality for whom she is the singular voice of. The person behind DKNY PR GIRL’s true identity was kept anonymous for two years until October 2011, when Licht outed herself in a behind the scenes of Fashion Week video on You Tube. Press coverage on her reveal received over 350 million impressions globally.
Licht is a four time #Fashion20 award winner for Best Fashion Twitter and is now nominated for her fifth. She is an inaugural TEDx Times Square speaker, has been profiled by E! News, Good & IBM’s “Figures of Progress”, TIME Style & Design's "Six Women Who Rule the Fashion World" and The New York Times’ “PR Girl Revealed as PR Executive”, among many others.
